From Inspiration to Intention

Adam explains that choosing to begin his career in Dubai was about more than opportunity; it was about being part of a region where the legal profession continues to evolve alongside business and technology.

Researching firms allowed me to show a genuine interest in the Middle East and in UAE law firms when I was applying to training contracts. That's essentially how I was able to show my interest and that my interest was genuine - by keeping up to date with legal and business stories in the Middle East.

TIP: When applying to international firms, research their presence in the region. Show that you understand the firm’s UAE practice areas and recent work - genuine curiosity always stands out!
